  large photo of Allison FickenAllison Ficken is a partner in the Atlanta law firm of Dovin Malkin & Ficken LLC. A North Carolina native, Ms. Ficken graduated from Wake Forest University in 1981, cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. At Wake Forest, Ms. Ficken played on the Women's Varsity Tennis Team, worked as an assistant to Professor Etheridge, worked as a research assistant to Marissa Schoonmaker, Esq., and served as chairman of the Student Judicial Board. Ms. Ficken attended the University of Georgia School of Law and received her Juris Doctor (with honors) in 1984. During law school, Ms. Ficken served as a research assistant to Professor Larry Blount in the area of corporate taxation and was a member of the Moot Court Team.

Ms. Ficken practices primarily in the areas of commercial arbitration, securities litigation/arbitration, and business litigation. She is licensed in Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina. She serves as an arbitrator for the National Association of Securities Dealers and formerly served as Treasurer of the Atlanta Chapter of the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers. Ms. Ficken is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Bar Association, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, the State Bar of North Carolina and the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association.
