 Sandra L. Malkin is a partner with the law firm of Dovin Malkin & Ficken LLC. Ms. Malkin was born in Albany, Georgia in 1962 and grew up in North Carolina and Virginia. Ms. Malkin attended the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill where she received her undergraduate degree in business administration in 1985 and her juris doctor, with honors, in 1988. During law school, Ms. Malkin served as the business manager for the North Carolina Journal of International Law and Commercial Regulation. In addition, Ms. Malkin worked as a research assistant for Professor Thomas Hazen in the area of securities regulation.
As a partner with the firm, Ms. Malkin practices primarily in the area of securities litigation and arbitration. Ms. Malkin has co-authored several articles concerning the representation of investors in securities arbitrations which have been published by the American Bar Association and the Practising Law Institute, among others. For several years, Ms. Malkin served on the board of the Atlanta Chapter of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers ("GAWL").
